I’ve just arrived in Dublin, Ireland. Such a beautiful city. Am loving it already.

I’ll be here for the week performing I LIke This with Chunky Move in the Dublin Fringe Festival. Should be great fun!

First things first…a day off to go sightseeing!

Headed to the Malthouse Theatre last night to see ANAM (Australian National Academy of Music) students alongside the Australian Art Orchestra in a triple bill.

The works were all contemporary orchestral art pieces, all flirting with improvisation and written score. Some very interesting ideas. The highlight was the title-work, Tract, which featured The Young Wagilak Group. The three men played Didgerridoo, clap-sticks and used their beautiful voices to accompany the orchestra.

Talking Movies

Popped into ACMI (Australian Centre for Moving Image) today to see the new exhibition, Margaret and David – 25 Years Talking Movies. The exhibition is dedicated to the on-screen partnership of Australia’s most loved and respected film critics, Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton. I absolutely loved it. LOVED IT!

In 25 years, these two have seen over 7,500 films each. Um, excuse me, that’s amazing.
