RIGHT BEHIND YOU creative development

Just finished a fantastic week working with dancer Alison Plevey and actor Adam Deusian on the creative development week for their new two-person show Right Behind You.

Using a group of performers from all sorts of backgrounds, we helped to explore verbatum texts from interview transcripts and also the Greek Myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.

Watch excerpts of the development showing.

“Elegant People” at the Opera House!

After winning the Open Age Contemporary section at the Sydney Eisteddfod, my choreographic work with Dubbo Ballet Studio was invited to be performed at the Sydney Opera house at the Jazz Group and Classical Scholarship gala evening.

It was so great to have these young dancers from the bush entertaining the crowd. They were the perfect finale! I was so proud.

Death of a Salesman

Popped into the lovely Belvoir St Theatre to catch Simon Stone’s new production of Death of Salesman.

After the pleasure of seeing The Wild Duck (also directed by Stone) I was keen to see what else he can do to rediscover classic theatre. While the script proved why this Miller play has stood the test of time, I was a little dissappointed with this production. The story, as expected was fantastic, but I walked out a little underwhelmed :(
